  "heading": "Withdrawal of exclusions",
  "text": "(1) Subject to rules 25 and 26 below, if the Director proposes to give a direction under paragraph 4 of Schedule 1 or paragraph 2 or 9 of Schedule 3, or in accordance with an order made under section 50, to the effect that an exclusion made by a provision specified in paragraph (2) below does not apply to an agreement, he shall consult each person who he considers is a party to the agreement.\n(2) The provisions specified for the purposes of paragraph (1) above are:\n(a) paragraph 1 of Schedule 1 (mergers);\n(b) paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 3 (section 21(2) agreements);\n(c) paragraph 9(1) of Schedule 3 (agricultural products); and\n(d) an order made under section 50 (vertical agreements and land agreements).\n(3) The period specified for the purposes of paragraph 4(4) of Schedule 1 and paragraphs 2(6) and 9(6) of Schedule 3 is ten working days from the date on which the person in question receives notice in writing requiring him to give information to the Director.\n(4) If the Director has given a direction referred to in paragraph (1) above, he shall publish it.",
