# The Competition Act 1998 (Vertical Agreements Block Exemption) Order 2022, Article 13: Cancellation in individual cases

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(1) If the CMA considers that a particular vertical agreement is not one which is exempt from the Chapter 1 prohibition as a result of section 9 of the Competition Act 1998, it may, subject to paragraph (2), by notice in writing cancel the block exemption in respect of that vertical agreement.
(2) If the CMA proposes to cancel the block exemption in accordance with this Article, it must first give notice in writing of its proposal and must consider any representations made to it.
