# The Competition (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, Paragraph 12

Despite their repeal by these Regulations, sections 65B and 65K of the 1998 Act (use of statements in prosecution) continue to have effect on and after IP completion day in relation to statements made before IP completion day.
