# The Concession Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2016, Regulation 53: Automatic suspension of authority power to proceed with concession contract award

Extent: S

Without prejudice to the application of any relevant standstill period, if proceedings under this Part are served on a contracting entity or concessionaire in relation to a concession contract that has not been entered into, the contracting entity must not enter into the concession contract unless—
(a) the proceedings are determined, discontinued or disposed of; or
(b) the court, by interim order, brings to an end the prohibition.
