  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations prescribe the requirements with which an agreement between a client and his legal representative must comply so as to enable it to be a conditional fee agreement under section 58 of the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990.\nThe Regulations are also applied with modifications to an agreement between a legal representative and additional representative, e.g. solicitor and counsel.",
