# The Consistent Financial Reporting (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2006, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations substitute a new regulation 5 of the Consistent Financial Reporting (England) Regulations 2003 which prescribes the date by which the local education authority must provide the Secretary of State with their governing bodies' financial statements. This date is changed from the 22 August to the third Friday in July.
