  "text": "(1) Any person who assaults a Supreme Court security officer acting in the execution of the officer's duty commits an offence.\n(2) A person guilty of an offence under subsection (1) is liable on summary conviction—\n(a) to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months, or\n(b) to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale, or\n(c) to both.\n(3) Subsection (2) applies—\n(a) in England and Wales in relation to offences committed before 2 May 2022, and\n(b) in Northern Ireland,\nas if the reference to 12 months were a reference to 6 months.\n(4) A person who resists or wilfully obstructs a Supreme Court security officer acting in the execution of the officer's duty commits an offence.\n(5) A person guilty of an offence under subsection (4) is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale.",
