# The Construction Contracts (Scotland) Exclusion Order 1998, Article 1: Citation, commencement and extent


(1) This Order may be cited as the Construction Contracts (Scotland) Exclusion Order 1998 and shall come into force at the end of the period of 8 weeks beginning with the day on which it is made.
(2) This Order shall extend to Scotland only.
