# The Construction Products (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, Paragraph 53: Amendments to Article 53

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(1) Article 53 (information obligations for notified bodies) is amended as follows.
(2) In the heading, for “notified” substitute “ approved ”.
(3) In paragraph 1—
(a) in the words before point (a)—
(i) for “Notified” substitute “ Approved ”;
(ii) for “notifying authority” substitute “ Secretary of State ”;
(b) in points (b) and (d), for “notification” substitute “ approval ”.
(4) In paragraph 2, for “notified”, in both places, substitute “ approved ”.
