# The Construction Products Regulations 2013, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st July 2013
The Secretary of State is a Minister designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to measures relating to construction products, and in the exercise of the powers conferred by that section makes the following Regulations.
