# The Consumer Credit Act 1974 (Electronic Communications) Order 2004, Article 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(1) This Order may be cited as the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (Electronic Communications) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 31st December 2004.
(2) In this Order, the “Act” means the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
