# The Consumer Scotland (Designated Regulators) Regulations 2021, Regulation 2: Designated regulators


The following regulators are designated regulators for the purposes of section 9(6) of the Consumer Scotland Act 2020:—
(a) the Drinking Water Quality Regulator for Scotland, and
(b) the Water Industry Commission for Scotland.
