  "text": "COPYRIGHT\nRIGHTS IN PERFORMANCES\nMade 3rd February 2026\nLaid before Parliament 10th February 2026\nComing into force in accordance with article 1(2)\nAt the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 3rd day of February 2026\nPresent,\nThe King's Most Excellent Majesty in Council\nHis Majesty, by and with the advice of His Privy Council, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 159, 206(4) and 208 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (“the Act”), is pleased to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows.\nHis Majesty is satisfied that provision has been or will be made under the law of India, in respect of wireless broadcasts and broadcasts, giving adequate protection to the owners of copyright under Part 1 of the Act and that provision has been or will be made under the law of India giving adequate protection for British performances.",
