  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order extends Part 1 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 to the Cayman Islands. The application of Part 1 is subject to the exclusions and modifications set out in the Schedule to the Order. The effect of the making of the Order is that the provisions of the Copyright (Cayman Islands) Order 1965 lapse by virtue of paragraph 36(2)(a) of Schedule 1 to the 1988 Act. The 1965 Order applied certain of the provisions of the Copyright Act 1956 to the Cayman Islands.",
