# Coroners Act (Northern Ireland) 1959, Section 40: Interpretation.


In this Act—
Definition rep. by 1978 c. 23
“constable” means any officer or member of the Royal Ulster Constabulary;
“coroner” includes a deputy coroner;
Definitions rep. by 1978 c. 23
“district inspector” means a district inspector of the Royal Ulster Constabulary;
