  "text": "LOCAL GOVERNMENT, ENGLAND AND WALES LONDON GOVERNMENT\nMade 23rd March 1965\nLaid before Parliament 31st March 1965\nComing into Operation 1st April 1965\nWhereas the Treasury have determined under section 60(2) of the Local Government Act 1958 that the Secretary of State is the appropriate Minister for the purposes of that subsection in relation to the persons to whom these Regulations relate:\nAnd whereas the Secretary of State is the appropriate Minister for the purposes of section 85(4) of the London Government Act 1963 in relation to those persons:\nNow, therefore, in pursuance of the powers conferred on me by the said section 60(2) and the said section 85(4), I hereby make the following Regulations:—",
