# The Coroners (Compensation) Regulations 1975, Introduction: Introductory text


LOCAL GOVERNMENT, ENGLAND AND WALES
Made 10th March 1975
Laid before Parliament 19th March 1975
Coming into Operation 10th April 1975
Whereas the Secretary of State for the Home Department is the appropriate Minister for the purposes of section 259 of the Local Government Act 1972 in relation to coroners:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the said section 259, I hereby make the following Regulations:—
