Regulation 19 Retirement compensation payable to pensionable officer who has attained age 65 before loss of employment

A person who has suffered loss of employment attributable to any provision of the Act or instrument made thereunder, and who had both attained the age of 65 years and completed 15 years service as a coroner on or before his loss of employment, shall be entitled to receive an annual sum as retirement compensation equal to the pension he would have received under section 6 of the Act of 1926 had he been called upon to vacate his office under that section.

The provisions of Regulations 11(1)(b), (c) and (e), 11(2), 17(2), (3) and (4), Part VI, and Regulations 32, 34, 35 and 36 shall not apply in the case of a person to whom this Regulation applies.
