  "text": "(1) Coroners' districts in the Counties of Clwyd, Gwent, Gwynedd, Mid Glamorgan, Powys, South Glamorgan and West Glamorgan, as those counties existed immediately before 1st April 1996, shall be amalgamated and altered so that the areas of those districts are divided into the coroners' districts, for which the alternative names in English and Welsh are given where applicable, set out in column (1) of Schedule 1 to this Order and each such district shall comprise the area specified in respect thereof in column (2) of that Schedule.\n(2) The areas described in column (2) of that Schedule are local government areas in Wales as they exist on 1st April 1996 by virtue of the amendments made by section 1 of, and Schedule 1 to, the Local Government (Wales) Act 1994.",
