# The Coroners' Districts (Wales) Order 1996, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 7th March 1996
Laid before Parliament 11th March 1996
Coming into force 1st April 1996
The Secretary of State in exercise of the power conferred on him by section 4A(1) and (7) of the Coroners Act 1988 and section 25 of the Welsh Language Act 1993, and after consulting the councils and coroners appearing to him to be affected by this Order, and such other persons as he thinks appropriate, hereby makes the following Order:
