  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Cosmetic Products (Safety) Regulations 1996 (S.I. 1996/2925) (“the principal Regulations”).\nThe Regulations implement Commission Directive 98/62/EC (OJ No. L253, 15.9.98, p. 20) to prohibit the supply of cosmetics products containing moskene and musk tibetene by adding these chemicals to the list of prohibited substances found at Schedule 1 of the principal Regulations. The Regulations make other technical amendments to Schedules 2, 4 and 5 of the principal Regulations (regulations 2(c) to (g)).\nThe Regulations come into force on 30th June 1999 except in the circumstances specified in Regulation 1(2).",
