# The Council for Licensed Conveyancers (Disciplinary Powers) Order 2001, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
Paragraph 15(2) of Schedule 19 to the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990 provides that the Lord Chancellor may specify a date on which the disciplinary powers specified in that sub-paragraph become exercisable by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers. Article 2 of this Order specifies 1st February 2001 as the date for this purpose.
