The Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1995 is amended as follows.

In section 207(2) (detention of young offenders), after “205(2) and (3)” insert “ , 205ZA(6), 205ZC(4) ”.

In section 208(1) (detention of children convicted on indictment), for “section 205” substitute “ sections 205 and 205ZC(5) ”.

In section 210A(1) (extended sentences for sex, violent and terrorist offenders)—

(a)

omit “and” after paragraph (a);

(b)

after paragraph (b) insert

“and
(c)
is not required by section 205ZA to impose a serious terrorism sentence of imprisonment or a serious terrorism sentence of detention,”.
