# The County Court (Amendment No. 2) Rules 1991, Article 51: Attachment of earnings


For Order 27, rule 1, there shall be substituted thefollowing—
“Interpretation
1 (1) In this Order—
“the Act of 1971”means the Attachment of Earnings Act 1971and, unless the context otherwise requires, expressions used inthat Act have the same meanings as in that Act;
“proper officer” does not include the district judge.
(2) Order 1, rule 8 shall apply in relation to any power conferred by the Act of 1971 as it applies in relation to any power conferred by these rules.”.
