# The Court Funds (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2023, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made in part in consequence of a defect in S.I. 2023/987 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 38(7) to (9) of the Administration of Justice Act 1982, and with the concurrence of the Treasury, makes the following Rules.
