# The Courts Act 2003 (Consequential Amendments) Order 2004, Paragraph 40: Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000


(1) Amend section 31 (rules of court) as follows.
(2) In subsection (1)—
(a) for “Rules of court” substitute “Criminal Procedure Rules”, and
(b) for “authority making them” substitute “Criminal Procedure Rule Committee”.
(3) Omit subsection (2).
