# The Courts-Martial (Amendment) Rules 2005, Article 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Rules may be cited as the Courts-Martial (Amendment) Rules 2005 and shall come into force on 1 July 2005.
(2) In these Rules—
“the Army Rules” means the Courts-Martial (Army) Rules 1997;
“the Royal Air Force Rules” means the Courts-Martial (Royal Air Force) Rules 1997; and
“the Royal Navy Rules” means the Courts-Martial (Royal Navy) Rules 1997.
