# The Courts-Martial (Amendment) Rules 2005, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 10 June 2005
Coming into force 1 July 2005
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 103 of the Army Act 1955, section 103 of the Air Force Act 1955, section 58 of the Naval Discipline Act 1957, and sections 111 and 132 of the Criminal Justice Act 2003, hereby makes the following Rules:
