# The Courts-Martial Appeal (Amendment No.2) Rules 2007, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in S.I. 2007/710 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of the Statutory Instrument.

The Lord Chief Justice of England, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 49 of the Courts-Martial (Appeals) Act 1968, and with the approval of the Lord Chancellor, hereby makes the following Rules:
