# The Courts-Martial (Royal Navy) Rules 1997, Article 16: Appointment of court officials


(1) The court administration officer shall appoint in the order assembling the court-martial a person to act as the clerk of the court.
(2) The court administration officer may appoint at any time a person or persons to act as—
(a) provost marshal,
(b) court recorder,
(c) officer of the court,
(d) interpreter,
at a court-martial.
