Article 46 Procedure after not guilty plea

(1)

The prosecutor shall make an opening address based on the statement of the prosecution case in the prosecution papers setting out the facts supporting the charge which he intends to establish.

(2)

The witnesses for the prosecution shall then be called to give their evidence.
