Article 4 Appointment of council Commissioners and tenure of office

In section 6 of the 1897 Act (election and rotation of members representing councils) for the words from “the town council” to “succeeding year” there shall be substituted the words “the Medina borough council, the Cowes town council, and the county council respectively shall be appointed at meetings of those bodies respectively to be held in November in the year 1988 and in every third year thereafter”.
