  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations prescribe the fee to be charged in respect of the grant of a special licence under section 8 of the Destructive Imported Animals Act 1932 (“the Act”) authorising the licensee to keep coypus for exhibition, purposes of scientific research or other exceptional purposes. The fee prescribed in England and Wales is £185, and in Scotland £60. The keeping of coypus otherwise than in accordance with a licence granted under section 8 of the Act is prohibited by the Coypus (Prohibition on Keeping) Order 1987 (S.I. 1987/2195).\nA regulatory appraisal has been prepared and has been deposited in the library of each House of Parliament.",
