  "text": "After section 47 of the 1984 Act there shall be inserted the following section—\n“ Early administrative hearings conducted by justices’ clerks.\n47A Where a person has been charged with an offence at a police station, any requirement imposed under this Part for the person to appear or be brought before a magistrates’ court shall be taken to be satisfied if the person appears or is brought before the clerk to the justices for a petty sessions area in order for the clerk to conduct a hearing under section 50 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 (early administrative hearings).”",
