  "text": "(1) In subsection (1) of section 1 of the 1993 Act (release of short-term, long-term and life prisoners), at the beginning there shall be inserted the words “ Subject to section 26A(4) of this Act, ”.\n(2) In subsection (2) of that section, at the end there shall be added the words “ unless he has before that time been so released, in relation to that sentence, under any provision of this Act ”.\n(3) After subsection (3) of that section there shall be inserted the following subsection—\n“(3A) Subsections (1) to (3) above are subject to section 1A of this Act.”",
