Rule 8 Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Rules 2013

in the note to rule 62.5 (Initial procedure on obstruction, disruption, etc.), before the first paragraph insert—

“The conduct to which this rule applies is sometimes described as criminal contempt of court.”; and

in the note to rule 62.9 (Initial procedure on failure to comply with court order, etc.), before the first paragraph insert—

“The conduct to which this rule applies is sometimes described as civil contempt of court.”.
