  "text": "In Part 30 (Enforcement of fines and other orders for payment), in rule 30.5 (Application to reduce a fine, vary payment terms or remit a courts charge)—\n(a) in the heading to the rule for “reduce” substitute “remit”;\n(b) for paragraph (1) substitute—\n“(1) This rule applies where—\n(a) the defendant wants the court to remit the whole or any part of a fine;\n(b) no collection order is in force and the defendant wants the court to vary payment terms; or\n(c) the defendant, a fines officer or an enforcement agent wants the court to remit a criminal courts charge.”; and\n(c) in paragraph (2)—\n(i) in sub-paragraph (c) for “reduce” substitute “remit”, and\n(ii) in sub-paragraph (c)(ii) for “reduced” substitute “remitted”.",
