# The Criminal Procedure Rules 2025, Rule 10.8: Draft indictment served by the prosecutor at the direction of the Court of Appeal

Extent: E+W

(1) This rule applies where the Court of Appeal orders a retrial.
(2) The prosecutor must serve a draft indictment on the Crown Court officer not more than 20 business days after that order.
