  "text": "(1) This rule applies where—\n(a) rule 9.8 applies; and\n(b) the defendant indicates an intention to plead guilty.\n(2) The court must exercise its power to deal with the case—\n(a) as if the defendant had just pleaded guilty at a trial in a magistrates’ court; and\n(b) in accordance with rule 24.11 (Procedure if the court convicts).\n[Note.
