# The Cross-Border Insolvency Regulations 2006, Regulation 8: Disapplication of section 388 of the Insolvency Act 1986


Nothing in section 388 of the Insolvency Act 1986 applies to anything done by a foreign representative—
(a) under or by virtue of these Regulations;
(b) in relation to relief granted or cooperation or coordination provided under these Regulations.
