# The Crown Agents Act 1979 (Appointed Day) Order 1979, Note: Explanatory note


This Order appoints 1st January 1980 as the day on which there shall come into being a body corporate named the Crown Agents for Oversea Governments and Administrations and a body corporate named the Crown Agents Holding and Realisation Board, to function under and in accordance with the Crown Agents Act 1979.
