We, the Crown Court Rule Committee, in exercise of the powers conferred upon us by sections 84(1) and 86 of the Supreme Court Act 1981^f1 and sections 38(6) and 65 of the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999^f2, hereby make the following Rules:
