(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order revokes and replaces the Crown Office Fees Order 1999. The following fees taken in the office of the Clerk of the Crown in Chancery are increased:

Letters Patent for a Charter of Incorporation or Supplemental Charter, from £315 to £410
Letters Patent for the appointment of Heralds, from £175 to £180
Letters Patent for appointment as Queen’s Counsel, from £150 to £165.
The fee for the determination of an abeyance of a Barony, for which a Writ of Summons is no longer required, is decreased from £150 to £130.
For the first time, fees are taken for the issue of Letters Patent promulgating amendments to Canon law, and for certificates confirming appointment as Queen’s Counsel.
