This Order in Council makes Rules which consolidate, with minor modifications, previous Rules made between 1878 and 1975. It prescribes the form of words to be used in certain writs of summons, Commissions of the Peace, Letters Patent and Royal Assent Commissions. It also provides for the publication of Royal Proclamations to take account of changes made in the organisation of local government.
