# The Cumbria and Lancashire (County Boundaries) Order 1988, Article 3: Transfers from Lancashire to Cumbria


(1) The part of the county of Lancashire, the City of Lancaster and the parish of Priest Hutton which is marked A2 on boundary map 1 shall be transferred to—
(a) the county of Cumbria and the Crooklands electoral division of that county;
(b) the district of South Lakeland and the Burton and Holme ward of that district;
(c) the parish of Burton-in-Kendal;
(d) the Kendal and Lonsdale petty sessional division;
(e) the Southern Cumbria Coroner’s district.
(2) That part of the county of Lancashire, the City of Lancaster and the parish of Burrow-with-Burrow which is marked A5 on boundary map 3 shall be transferred to—
(a) the county of Cumbria and the Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale electoral division of that county;
(b) the district of South Lakeland and the Kirkby Lonsdale ward of that district;
(c) the parish of Casterton;
(d) the Kendal and Lonsdale petty sessional division;
(e) the Southern Cumbria Coroner’s district.
