(1)

The repeal of the enactments specified in the Schedule hereto shall take effect on 1st January 1978.

(2)

Nothing in the previous paragraph shall affect the operation of the Origin of Goods (Petroleum Products) Regulations 1977f1 or of any direction under section 6 of the Import Duties Act 1958.
