# The Customs (Safety and Security Procedures) Regulations 2021, Regulation 1: Citation and commencement


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Customs (Safety and Security Procedures) Regulations 2021.
(2) Subject to paragraph (3) these Regulations come into force on 1st October 2021.
(3) Regulation 2(2) comes into force on 1st January 2022.
