# The Customs (Safety and Security Procedures) Regulations 2025, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament at 4.30 p.m. on 9th January 2025
Coming into force 30th January 2025
The Commissioners for His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs make these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 166A(1) and (3) and 166C of the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979.
