Regulation 2 Amendment of previous Regulations

The Dairy Produce Quotas Regulations 1997^f1 shall be amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) and (3) below.

In paragraph (2)(a) of regulation 6 (adjustment of purchaser quota), for the words “28th April in the quota year following the end of the quota year in which such a transaction or conversion of quota takes place”, there shall be substituted the words “21st May 1997 or 28 days after the date on which the transaction or conversion of quota takes place (whichever is the later)”.

In paragraph (1) of regulation 11 (transfer of quota without transfer of land), for the words“ten working days before the end of the quota year in which that transfer takes place”, there shall be substituted the words “8th May 1997 or ten working days before the intended date of the transfer (whichever is the later)”.
