# The Data Protection (Fees) Regulations 1991, Introduction: Introductory text


DATA PROTECTION
Made 9th May 1991
Laid before Parliament 10th May 1991
Coming into force 1st June 1991
In exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 6(7), 8(5),40(7) and 41 of the Data Protection Act 1984 and by the Data Protection Registration Fee Order 1991 and after consultation with the Registrar and with theapproval of the Treasury in accordance with the said section 40(7), Ihereby make the following Regulations:
